Hello, my name is Amy McBain!
I am passionate about helping YOU and your business be the best it can be. My deepest desire is to relieve the stress that businesses feel and experience when working with their bookkeeping, finances, organizational efficiencies or really anything that involves numbers or the implementation of processes and procedures.
My past experiences have prepared me to be your next greatest asset! I have extensive experience in bookkeeping and operational efficiency. Most recently, I was a Director of Finance with over 11 years of experience working for a School District. During my time as Director, I managed a $113M budget and was responsible for the oversight of the Business Office team of 9 employees and their exceptional work. This work included accounts payable and receivables, purchasing, school accounting, financial staffing plan, federal grants, payroll, banking, audit and all other financial activities and reporting. I took great care in updating and establishing policies, practice statements and purchasing guidelines for the business office to ensure that everything was up-to-date, compliant and efficient.
An anchor is a symbol of stability, strength, and security. In a figurative sense, an anchor represents something or someone that keeps us grounded and secure amidst life's uncertainties. This symbol means something personal to me and something professionally to me.
When my sister was battling terminal cancer, the anchor was symbolic for her. She was anchored to Christ during her fight. Although it was a difficult journey, she felt peace in the storm because of her faith.
In the financial world, an anchor can refer to a stable environment, good financial tracking to help with fluctuations in business. To help us identify and mitigate risks as the business landscape changes.
Ultimately, an anchor represents a sense of safety and reassurance that can help us weather life's and business storms with greater ease.
That is what I aim to do, which is why I chose Anchored Financial Solutions.
